About me

I’m Rebecca — a qualified therapist and late diagnosed autistic Woman.

Over the past few years I have been on my own journey of self-discovery, healing and acceptance. I definitely still consider this a work in progress, but I’m trying to trust and love myself more each day.

My journey lead me to train in person-centred counselling, which means I won’t give you advice or tell you what to do — instead, I’ll offer a space where you feel heard, accepted, and supported to explore whatever’s going on in your world. I believe that real change happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves.

Before setting up in private practice, I worked in mental health services for several years, supporting people in crisis and those navigating trauma. I hold a First-Class BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling from the University of Warwick and have additional experience working with survivors of sexual violence.

I bring not only my professional training but also my lived experience of being autistic. I understand what it’s like to mask, to burn out and to feel misunderstood.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me walking my Labrador, pottering about the garden or doing some deep dive research into my latest interest.
